Culture, food, people, sites, history, family, and welcoming are a few words I can use to describe the beautiful country of Turkey. Turkey is a marvel to see. Breathtaking in so many ways and an eye-opening experience in others. It’s what makes Turkey a place to visit at least once in your life. To see Turkey, you must infuse yourself with its culture and neighborhoods. You will immediately see how the people welcome you into their world and lives. Of course, like in every country, there are harmful elements. Fortunately for this country, the good significantly outweighs the bad.

Take it from us; visit Turkey not only to take pictures of hot air balloons. Don’t insult this country by just running to do that or pose on a ledge in a colored dress as balloons pass by. Come and experience thousands of years of history, like the mineral-rich thermal waters in Pamukkale, or see Ephesus’s incredible European ruins. Sure, end up in Kapadokya (Cappadocia), but before you go running to take pictures of hot air balloons, get as high as possible and see the fantastic cave ruins of how people lived. Stop by the nearby underground city of Derinkuyu (Elengubu).

We haven’t even made it to Istanbul yet!! Um…um, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, to name a few!! If you have enough time, you can head over to Kaş, the diving capital of Turkey and one of the top dive sites in the world, and go and enjoy the abundance of marine life and ancient relics you will see. There are so many places to see and experience in between that you would need to visit this country multiple times to absorb it truly.

Turkey offers something for everyone, from young to old. After leaving, everyone will have a unique memory that is just their own and shared by no one but them.
